Do you own "The Secret" DVD? How many times have you viewed it? Okay, I'll confess I've watched it a couple of times.
Why? Because it takes work. Viewing the movie for the first time, I was inspired. It's a glamorous and sexy production. Uplifting music.
The Secret movie stressed the Law of Attraction. How fundamentally crucial our "thinking" is to our reality. That is the truth.
To become better people and lead improved lives, we must focus on how we think and feel. Nothing good will happen if we stay mired in negative and "lack" thinking.
It's an uphill battle for some of us. We've had years of negative programming. It's a process of re-inventing ourselves. Undoing the hurtful and unproductive vibrations we've accumulated. Being reborn.
If only that was all it took! If "thoughts became things", I'd be standing outside my oceanfront villa watching George Clooney coming up my long and winding driveway! Seriously, though...
Back to The Secret movie for a second. There were two parts that rubbed me the wrong way. The little boy visualizing the bike. And, the woman gazing at the necklace. Poof! The items appear.
A little hokey for my liking. It would have been more realistic if the boy would have came up with an idea to earn money toward the bike. Same for the woman who has a man appear to give her the things she wants. I'm sure that set off the "cringe factor" in many women. And men!
Along with using the Law of Attraction, we must take ACTION! All the speakers on the movie took action to achieve what they have in their lives.
None of them simply "thought" their lives into existence. Imagine that scenario. Not too realistic. Yes, we must practice the universal law everyday and then it will slowly become second nature.
But we also must be open and ready for the opportunities that show up. To be ready to ACT. To know what we want in life. The kind of lifestyle we want. Keeping ourselves motivated and focused on our goals.
That's why there's "action" in Law of AttrACTION!
