There is an Order to All Things

by Joyce Shafer

The more significant or valuable something is the more time is usually involved in its unfolding or to make it happen. Are you on board with this?

Many who want to master Law of Attraction, or anything in life or business, believe that if they read one or more books, watch one or more films, or buy one or more programs, some osmosis will occur or some switch will flip, and they'll be masters.

We kind of wish that about a lot of things. Understandable as we live in an age that emphasizes speed and instant gratification. Why not instant mastery?

Think about a surgeon.

Someone who decides to become a surgeon has to start at the beginning of that training, observe others, and apply themselves through action until their ability to perform is a fact. The person has to allow for a learning curve, time for experiences involved to build knowledge of how the smaller bits fit into the bigger picture, and opportunities to practice and fine-tune their skills. Application Is Imperative! You don't want a surgeon adept at wishful thinking and affirmations only. There's much more to learn than just how to perform a specific surgery.

Compare this paralleled multi-faceted process to learning about and using Law of Attraction, which is what many strive to do in order to master life and business experiences.

Some of the struggle many people have with LOA is a result of resistance to any experiential learning curve. It's understandable since many are trying to end some form of pain, turmoil, or discomfort as quickly as possible. And they believe LOA is the instant gratification solution.

Key Point That Creates Resistance and Delay: Do not allow yourself or anyone else to use comparisons to gauge how you're doing, unless you're comparing how you are today to how you were yesterday, or last week, or last year. (Note: Other people's opinions have nothing to do with your experience of your reality.)

What are your thoughts, experiences, or beliefs about being a willing participant in this process?
