Can you imagine what your life would be like if you can do, have and become all that you want? Where you can have long summer holidays wherever you choose? Where you can have any car or material item that you choose? Where you can be a business owner if you choose?
The sad thing is that most of us are not even close to doing the things we want to do, many of us do not have the materialistic items that we want and a good number of us are not who we want to become.
Why do you think that is?
I would like to tell you what is stopping you, what is preventing you from achieving all that and more, and I can do it in two words: limiting beliefs.
Limiting beliefs are those thoughts that you believe are true about yourself, the thoughts that you control you, the thoughts that manipulate your every action.
These beliefs dominate you and place limitations on you to achieving things in life.
Many people ask what they can do to make significant changes in their lives. How can they regain control of their lives so they may do, have and become what they want?
How can they be rid of such limitations? How can you be rid of the beliefs that have a hold over you?
You identify those limiting beliefs by looking around you and asking why haven't you got what you want. If you haven't got the money that you want to enjoy life: You ask yourself "why?"
Is it because you believe rich people are greedy? Or do you believe that you cannot make any more money? Perhaps you have other beliefs. Find out what they are, jot them all down in your Beliefs Journal, then plan to rise above them, one by one.
One way you can do this is by taking consistent actions that are in the direction of what you want; in the opposite direction of your beliefs.
This is a very powerful way that you can change them. Let's say you presently believe that life sucks and you see nothing good in it. Great! You have identified a limiting belief that you can work on.
Do you want to enjoy every day of your life? Here is how you can do that:
1. Live today. Decide to live your life. Set the ball in motion by living today and make the best it. Then make the best of tomorrow. Start the ball rolling and go from one day to the next.
2. Accept change. You might not feel comfortable with your new thoughts. It is important that you accept that change is a part of your new life. It will get easier as each great day goes by.
3. Be a forgiver. This is critical to enjoying everyday life. You see, if you do not forgive the people you hold a grudge against, you are the one who will suffer most. The others are going about their day and you are feeling the pain. Forgive and forget.
For you to have a good life, work on your beliefs. Learn to be aware of those that limit you and take daily action to face them and challenge them. In time they will change to self-enhancing beliefs.
Make it a choice to live life to the fullest. You deserve it.
