Earnie Larsen, a former priest, was dubbed one of the movers and shapers of the 90's by "People" magazine in recognition of his growing fame in self-help circles. He is a nationally known author and lecturer and a pioneer in the field of recovery from addictive and unwanted behaviors. In 1990, Larsen opened his Earnie Larsen Life Management Center in Plymouth, Minnesota, in a remodeled warehouse. During its first three months of operation, more than 400 people went through its programs. As many as 50,000 people annually attend his seminars and coast-to-coast speaking engagements. He has authored and produced more than 40 motivational self-help books and tapes on a variety of subjects ranging from interpersonal relationships to spirituality.
