The Academy of Sound is a British music group made up of Allan Rowe and Carl Jarvis. The group was created to fulfill the vision of Carl Jarvis who set out to utilize music as a means to accelerate learning. In the process, Carl created an entirely new genre of music that the group calls "Ambionic Music."

Allan Rowe performs all pianos, keyboards, and synthesizers in addition to programming and engineering the group's compositions. Carl Jarvis performs all electric guitars.

All of The Academy of Sound's music is composed by Rowe and Jarvis.
