Ever tried to sell a house? Ever tried to sell a house that you hate? How about having a contract to buy the house, and then backing out at the last minute. This has happened to me several times. I hated the house, and I wanted to move. I couldn't move without selling the house.

I began to change my thought process. I started loving the house, and visualizing the house being sold. This change of attitude was most difficult for me. I never had anything positive to say about anything, and I didn't believe that positiveness would bring about more positive experiences. I changed and I learned much about the law of attraction. We truly attract what our thoughts project. I learned this all through the selling of a problem house.

Have you ever deliberately embarked on changing your own attitude? Did you think about the process that takes place in making that change? I decided that my time for change had come, and set out to look at life differently. I wanted to become a person that looks at life from a half-full cup instead of a half-empty cup. I wanted to believe that I was worthy, deserving of good things, and have the desires of my heart. Seemingly I find that some people just naturally have a positive attitude, but not me.

"Changes and Shifts" is my personal journal in struggling to change my attitude to a more positive outlook. I didn’t necessarily have a negative attitude, but I had an attitude of worthlessness. I made a conscious decision to believe in myself, and decide that I could have the desires of my heart. During this process of change, I was attempting to sell a house that I hated. This real estate endeavor gave me the opportunity to practice my new attitude. The examples and lessons are many.
